Production

After completing our pre-production discovery phase, we're ready to begin production. In addition to having an expert team and a creative staff, we have all of the resources we need to create a stellar final project. There are many factors that contribute to a quality production.  As we work together to create your video or audio project, we need the following:

  1. A great camera position: This allows us to properly frame the scene with all speakers, screens, or the stage.
  2. The correct microphone: During production, the primary speaker(s) will often wear a wireless lavalier microphone which will require a small transmitter pack to be clipped to a belt, pocket, or waistband.
  3. Audio coordination: If ITS Audio/Media Services is providing sound reinforcement, we will use an audio feed from them for the video recording.  In some instances, it may be necessary for two sets of microphones.
  4. Adequate light for the activity:  Many rooms have sufficient light for recording purposes but it may be necessary to temporarily install additional lighting.
