Live Video Distribution

The University established a channel on Livestream this spring in order to provide our global audience an opportunity to watch Class Day and Commencement in real time. In addition to the video feed, viewers were invited to interact through integrations with both Twitter and Facebook. As the academic year approaches, consider whether providing a live video stream to your public event will help meet your goals by increasing your audience reach or by deepening the connection between your community and your content.

Creating An “Apps” Community

Many of us around the University are thinking about mobile apps or even have some currently in development. We’d like to create a community for everyone thinking about apps. In addition to the knowledge we can gain from one another, working together will ensure that Yale University related apps are distributed in a consistent manner.
