After completing our pre-production discovery phase, we're ready to begin production. In addition to having an expert team and a creative staff, we have all of the resources we need to create a stellar final project. There are many factors that contribute to a quality production. As we work together to create your video or audio project, we need the following:
- A great camera position: This allows us to properly frame the scene with all speakers, screens, or the stage.
- The correct microphone: During production, the primary speaker(s) will often wear a wireless lavalier microphone which will require a small transmitter pack to be clipped to a belt, pocket, or waistband.
- Audio coordination: If ITS Audio/Media Services is providing sound reinforcement, we will use an audio feed from them for the video recording. In some instances, it may be necessary for two sets of microphones.
- Adequate light for the activity: Many rooms have sufficient light for recording purposes but it may be necessary to temporarily install additional lighting.
